Not every weekend is Saturday and Sunday: planning across different schedules
Some workplaces use Friday-Saturday weekends or only Sunday off. Apply the actual working calendar rather than inferring it from the page language.

2026-10-23 is a Friday, and the range through Monday October 26 contains four calendar dates. With Saturday and Sunday off, Friday and Monday count as two business days. With only Sunday off, the count becomes three. Additional holidays can change either result, so the weekly rule is only the starting point.
Choose the schedule that matches the team
This site offers Saturday-Sunday, Friday-Saturday, Sunday-only and no fixed weekly days off. For teams in different regions, calculate each relevant schedule separately rather than treating one count as everyone’s availability. A country name alone may not describe an individual company’s arrangements. Keep the schedule choice visible in any shared planning note.
Confirm the meaning of the deadline
A contract may refer to calendar days, banking days or business days in a named location. Those terms need not mean the same thing. The tool performs general calendar arithmetic and cannot decide which calendar an agreement adopts. Record the weekly settings and exceptions, and confirm the deadline time and time zone with the responsible party for cross-region submissions. The date and hours tools can support separate calculations once those definitions are settled.
