How many seconds are in 1 hour 30 minutes 45 seconds?

Why 1.3045 is a different duration
The value 1.3045 hours means one hour plus 0.3045 of an hour. Multiplying the fractional part by sixty gives 18.27 minutes, not thirty minutes and forty-five seconds. Before entering a duration into a spreadsheet, establish whether the field expects decimal hours or clock-style notation. Removing a colon without conversion changes the value.
